Why m.o.v.e. Matters

Research suggests that targeted exercise interventions initiated early after diagnosis may help preserve motor function and improve quality of life.

Our program harnesses the power of neuroplasticity — your brain's remarkable ability to reorganize and form new connections — through volitional, exaggerated movement patterns across all areas from brain to toes.

M.o.v.e. is an innovative program specifically designed for individuals recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. The pillars of move include:

With backgrounds ranging from neurological rehabilitation to voice therapy and functional fitness, we show up fully—creating a welcoming, energizing environment where you can challenge yourself, connect with others, and feel supported every step of the way.

As a pioneering initiative, m.o.v.e. offers participants the opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative approaches to Parkinson's management.

Exercise is the number one patient-modifiable factor in slowing Parkinson's disease progression. Unfortunately, research shows there is often a significant gap between diagnosis and the start of evidence-based exercise routines that can make a real difference.

M.o.v.e. is a state-of-the-art program specifically designed by experts to close this gap and provide targeted exercises that address multiple aspects of living with Parkinson's – including speech, voice, swallow, language, cognition, functional movements, gross motor, fine motor, dual tasking, and overall quality of life.
